01. Karachi Division
Karachi Divisions is the largest and most popular division in Sindh. It encompasses the metropolitan city of Karachi, which is financial and commercial hub of Pakistan. The division is subdivided into several districts including east Karachi, Karachi west, Karachi South, Karachi Central, Malir, and Korangi. This division is Known for its vibrant economy, diverse culture, and significant ports facilities.
02. Hyderabad Division.
Hyderabad division is located in southeastern part of Sindh. It is historically significant and known for its cultural heritage. This division include the districts of Hyderabad, Dado, Jamshoro, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Thata. Hyderabad city, the divisions headquarters, is a major center of education and industry in the province.
03. Mirpur Khas Division
Mirpur Khas division is situated in the central part of Sindh. The division is primarily agricultural, producing a significant portion of crops, especially mangoes, The division consist of the districts of Mirpur Khas, Umarkot, Tharparkar, and Sanghar. Mirpur Khas city, the divisions capital, its known for its agricultural market and educational institutions.
04. Sukkur Division.
Sukkur division lies in the northern part of Sindh. It is an important economic and industrial region, with the city of Sukkur serving its administrative center. The division includes the districts of Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur, Naushahro, and Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah). The division is strategically important due to its location along the Indus river.
05. Larkana Division.
Larkana Division, is located in the western part of Sindh, is renowned for its political significance and historical sites. The division includes, the district of Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Kashmore, and Shikpur, Larkana city is the divisional headquarters and the ancestral home of several prominent political families, including the Bhuttos.
06. Shaheed Benazirabad Division.
The division, also known as NawabShah Division. was named in honor of the late Benazir Bhutto, former prime minister of Pakistan. It includes the districts of Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah) Naushahro, Feroze, and Sanghar. The division is noted for its agricultural output and political significance.
07. BANBHORE DIVISION
In recent administrative developments, Sindh province has added a new division named Banbhore. This division aim to enhance administrative efficiency and improve governance in the region.
